SUBSTANTIATION OF OPTIMUM TECHNOLOGICAL MODES OF SURFACE TREATMENT BY HAT METHOD AT REPAIR OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY

In the operation of farm machinery there is a need of the operations of surface treatment of various contaminants. The surfaces, which are cleaned, often have a complex shape that complicates to use traditional methods. The paper proposes to clean contaminated surfaces by method of hydroabrasive treatment. Experimental study to determine the optimal parameters of hydroabrasive treatment of surfaces of details during repair works was conducted. Productivity the cleaning process of the surface depends largely on the grain size composition of abrasive and angle of attack. The assessment of the impact of the mechanical properties of the product material and of nozzle traverse speed on the efficiency of the process was carried out. The dependence of the surface quality after treatment from grain size composition of abrasive and technological parameters of process was determined.
