STUDY OF THE IMPACT OF GOVERNMENT SUPPORT MEASURES ON THE MARKET STRUCTURE OF AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS IN THE SVERDLOVSK REGION
The relevance of thisarticle is due to the need to fill the existing gap in research on the impactof government support measures on the tendency to concentration of agriculturalproducers and the formation of an integrated market structure. Since sectoralefficiency in the field of agricultural production depends on the processes ofconcentration of participants, an additional analysis of this process isnecessary in the context of stimulating its measures of state support. Thepurpose of the article is to study the impact of government support measures onthe market structure of agricultural producers in the Sverdlovsk region. Themethodical approach to the study is based on the use of the tools ofcorrelation analysis and the definition of interrelations by the market share /amount of support parameters. The obtained results suggest that there are notrends in the concentration of agricultural producers in the Sverdlovsk region, which leads to the rejection of the advantages of large-scale agriculturalproduction, both at the level of individual business entities and in the scaleof the regional economy. The observed characteristics identified in theanalysis of the Herfindahl – Hirschman index coincide with data on theorganizational status of the work of existing farms in the Sverdlovsk regionand, in aggregate, confirm the hypothesis of a study on the observability ofprocesses to reduce the market concentration of agricultural producers. As aresult of the study, the hypothesis about the impact of state support measureson the downsizing of the market of agricultural producers was confirmed, thecomplex of state support measures existing at this stage disintegrate themarket. It should be noted that the orientation of modern approaches in themanagement of the agricultural complex, aimed at the formation of amultivariate scheme of production in combination with the variety of types ofenterprises in this market leads to a significant disaggregation of farms ofraw materials.
