STABILITY OF GRADES OF THE POTATO TO THE COLORADO BUG IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE TYUMEN REGION

In the conditions of the Tyumen region it is studied 34

grades of the potato which has been preliminary picked

up for stability to a Colorado bug. 5 grades are allocated:

Kamensk, the Glow, Relight, Bryansk reliable, Lasunak

who on stability to a Colorado bug have advantage before a

standard grade Neva. They combine stability to a Colorado

bug with other economic signs: productivity, quality of

tubers, good лежкость during the winter period. Grades

Kamensk and the Glow ripen for 1–5 days before Neva,

and to other economic signs are at level of a standard grade.

Both grades form early production with high marketability

of tubers. Noted grades is more economic the standard,

profitability level on a grade Kamensk in a variant without

application of protection frames of plants has made 212.9 %

and in a variant with use of chemical protection —

169.5 %, on a grade the Glow — 185.8 and 146.2 % accordingly. For comparison, at a standard grade Neva analyzed indicators were 111.9 and 135.7 %.

Grades Kamensk and the Glow are characterized by

rather high stability to a Colorado bug in a combination

to other economic signs and represent practical interest

for manufacture of the Tyumen region. Other, allocated on

stability to a Colorado bug, it is possible to use grades as

an initial material for potato selection.
