BIOTECHNOLOGY OF SELECTION OF PLANTS ON COMBINATION THEORY OF MONOGENE QUALITATIVE AND QUANTITATIVE SIGNS AND PROSPECT OF ITS DEVELOPMENT IN THE XXI-ST CENTURY

In the article the method of selection of plants on an example of the tomato, based on the using of combinations monogenic inherited traits is shown. In the tomato genofond  there are totaled more than 200 such traits, including resistance to more than 35 diseases and insects.Developed in VNIIOB (Astrakhan) the method of the genetic analysis (CHASAR) allows to open monogenic inherited quantitative traits, that else in a greater degree expands potential of "monogenetic" selection of plants in 21 century.
