Agrochemical properties of hardly reclaimed soils of Fergana
The Central Fergana is situated in the desert relatively flat part of the Fergana Valley, where under the conditions of arid climate hydromorphic salinized soils and alkali soils are formed and transformed at the shallow saline groundwater. On these soils carbonate-gypsum horizons are spread at different levels from the surface. The soils with such horizons have sharply negative water-physical and chemical and geochemical properties. Geochemical properties of the soil of this kind are insufficiently studied. We selected elementary geochemical landscapes in several key areas of Yazyavansky, Ulugnarsky, Mingbulaksky and other areas of Central Fergana in order to study the migration and accumulation of chemical elements and their participation in the formation of geochemical barriers such as carbonate-gypsum.
