Ecological bases of poultry farming

The article raises the problem of development of poultry farming with alternative technologies of utilization of dung. Biochemical function of inorganic (nitrogen) and organic substances in maintenance of soil fertility were considered, the violation of which is caused by anthropogenic influences, such as “the application of mineral fertilizers, chemical weed and pest killers, methods of soil cultivation”. Value of organic substance for the soil biota participating in transformation of nitrogen (nitrogen fixation, ammonification, nitrification and denitrification) and causing balance of nitrogenous substances in a soil ecosystem is shown Literature data of toxico biological assessment of excrement are presented. Modern technologies of dung utilization are analyzed; it was concluded that there is no ecological and economical credentials of analyzed dung utilization technologies. It is offered to return a dung as organic substance (instead of fertilizer) to the soil for dynamic stabilization of ecosystem named “agrobiogeocenosis”. Poultry farming has to be an ecosystem component.
