Protein content in milk of fresh cows of black-and-white and Holstein breeds in conditions of Zauralye
Dairy cattle breeding Russia provides about two-thirds of animal protein, of which the milk accounts for more than 40 %, of meat (beef) — almost 20 %. For this indicator, the industry of animal husbandry Russia should be considered paramount. The results of numerous scientific papers show that the production of milk protein is more beneficial economically in comparison with the production of it in the meat. Also, the usefulness of milk protein is much higher than other animal products. However, unlike other countries with developed dairy cattle breeding, breeding in Russia on the milk protein conducted not very active. As a result of the investigations it was established the variability of milk yield and fat content at different levels of the mass fraction of protein in the first lactation cows of leading dairy breeds.
