The analysis of strawberry’s quality during the storage, grown in vivo and in micropropagation

It deals with the production of vegetable crops by a promising method of micropropagation in vitro in order to increase
the production of high-quality and hard-propagated crops. A principal scheme of plants’ micropropagation is presented. A comparative
evaluation of strawberries “Maxim” is given, obtained by micropropagation in vitro, which suggests the absence of an
infectious intervention at early stages of cultivation. Organoleptic, physical and chemical parameters have been examined,
the data about the content of iron, potassium, magnesium, selenium and vitamin C during storage of berries are submitted.
The safety of strawberries is investigated in accordance with the requirements of SanPin 2.3.21078-01. It was found that
strawberries, resulting from micropropagation, meet the requirements of GOST organoleptic, physico-chemical parameters.
All of the samples meet requirements of SanPin 2.3.21078-01 during their storage. During the storage the content of micronutrients
in the berries resulted from micropropagation were not significantly different from the berries, propagated in vivo.
An important advantage of micropropagation cultures is the absence of adverse impact of external factors on the stage of reproduction,
which gives the maximum amount of high-quality material for planting per area unit. Micropropagation of strawberries
provides a high-quality planting material on an industrial scale, reduces losses during cultivation, increases the amount
of strawberries that meet all regulatory requirements.
