THE USE OF FEED ADDITIVES FOR INCREASING THE PRODUCTIVITY OF SIRES

On the artificial insemination stations the problems often occur associated with the possibility of increasing the sperm production of sires with the most outstanding breeding quality. The aim of our study was to investigate the influence of feed additives Germivit and Asid Buf, as well as a probiotic Tsellobakterin on the main indicators of semen production and blood biochemical parameters change of sires at the artificial insemination station of Uralplemcenter. The experiment showed that an application of the feed additives and probiotics had a positive effect on semen production. It should be used as additives for full aged sires. At the same time, the use of these same additives to improve a semen production of the young sires is not advisable, because there is no positive impact during the period of young sires intensive growth. The application of a probiotic Tsellobakterin had an impact on biochemical parameters of sires. Using of all used in the experiment feed additives had a positive effect on the metabolism of sires. After 90-day application of a probiotic liver enzymes decreased to average indicators. The blood levels of alkaline phosphatase and glutamate dehydrogenase also decreased. Consequently, this feed additive had a positive impact on the body of growing animals. In groups of mature sires a probiotic Tsellobakterin had a positive effect on blood composition. The number of liver enzymes decreased, which indicates an improvement of metabolism in the liver of animals.
