THE EFFECT OF THE MULTI-FUNCTIONAL FERTILIZERS ON THE PRODUCTIVITY OF WINTER GARLIC AND GETTING A HEALTHY PLANTING MATERIAL IN THE UDMURT REPUBLIC
Winter garlic is demanding of soils accessible forms of nutritions. Multifunctional complex fertilizers are widely used in the cultivation of vegetables. We studied RosPochva fertilizer, which is a product of anaerobic digestion of cattle manure, in growing carrots, onions, cabbage and cauliflower, and continued studying it comparing Gumi-20 and Ideal for winter garlic class Petrovsky. In 2008–2012, in the Udmurt Republic, we studied the effectiveness of the multi-functional fertilizer (Gumi-20, Ideal, RosPochva) when growing winter garlic with and without removing the flower arrows. Investigations were carried out on the sod medium sandy loam soil with a very high supply of the mobile forms of phosphorus and potassium. The studies found a positive effect of the multi-functional fertilizers (Gumi-20, Ideal, RosPochva) on the increase of the productivity of winter garlic bulbs, especially without removing the flower arrows and getting healthy planting material of winter garlic. On average for the three years of studying the fertilizers the increase of the productivity without removing the flower arrow was 7–14 % and with the removing of the arrow — 4–8 %. The increase of the productivity with the use of fertilizers is obtained by forming the larger bulb. However, the cultivation of winter garlic without removing the flower arrow leads to a significant reduction of the weight of the bulb. In 2011, fertilizers RosPochva and Gumi-20 increased the productivity of the bulbs of winter garlic on 7–11 %. The significant increase of productivity of the single bulbils is also obtained with the help of the studied by fertilizers.
